It feels like we only just got used to writing 2025, but the year is already coming to an end.
From the entire Cre8tek team in Shenzhen and Hjørring, we would like to send a Christmas greeting to our customers, colleagues, and partners. We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
2025 has brought strong interest from both new and existing customers in developing and manufacturing electronic products together with Cre8tek. At the same time, it has been a year marked by changing conditions in our industry.
The year at Cre8tek
From our perspective, 2025 has differed significantly from the past few years. Business conditions in the electronics and tech industry have been shaped by increased geopolitical uncertainty, affecting international trade and tariffs as well as the investment climate for start-ups and scale-ups.
At Cre8tek, we stayed focused on what we could influence. We prioritised being a stable development and manufacturing partner, delivering the right quality at the right time.
That focus continues into the new year.
More customer visits
Once again, we have had many customer visits in both Hjørring and Shenzhen. These visits are important to us as they strengthen our cooperation and create a closer dialogue around both development and production.
We recently had the pleasure of hosting our good customers and friends from SimpleWire here in Shenzhen.
Fairs and events in 2025
Cre8tek has taken part in several trade fairs and events during the year, where we have met customers, partners, and industry colleagues. We participated in Elektronikmässan, Electronics of Tomorrow, 3 Days of Design, and Digital Tech Summit.
It was a pleasure meeting so many interested visitors at the fairs and the summit, and also getting the chance to visit our lighting customers’ impressive exhibitions during 3 Days of Design.
New branding video from our production facilities
In collaboration with Apropos Bureau and Movimentum, we have produced a new branding video from our production facilities in Shenzhen. In the video, Poul Dørup Olesen and Yilin Pei provide an updated look into both our scale and our broad capabilities across development and production.
Christmas holidays and Chinese New Year – The Year of the Horse
Our Danish department in Hjørring will be closed for Christmas holidays from December 22 to January 2.
In China, our production facilities and office in Shenzhen will be closed from February 12 to March 1 due to Chinese New Year, which this year marks the Year of the Horse. Our Danish office will remain open during this period.
