Transforming the use of neurophysiological data
Pison Technology is an innovative company that has developed sensor technology utilizing human neurophysiological data to enhance both personal and professional performance. Pison uses advanced technology to capture natural brain signals from the wrist, while AI algorithms transform this data into valuable insights and actions.
Historically, Pison has provided technologies to the Department of Defense for monitoring physical and cognitive conditions and controlling gestures through wrist-worn devices. When Cristiano Cairo, Pison Technology’s CCO, joined the company, he recognized the potential to adapt this technology for the consumer market. The existing products, while technologically advanced, lacked ease of use for everyday activities, prompting a shift from exclusively serving the government to developing consumer-ready wearables.
A strategic partnership with Cre8tek for mechanical design, prototyping and manufacturing.
To achieve this vision, Pison Technology partnered with the Danish/Chinese EMS company Cre8tek, to improve mechanical design, prototyping, and integration of user experience aspects of their innovative products.
Cristiano Cairo chose Cre8tek for their unique blend of European design sensibilities and technical expertise, based on his positive prior experience with them.
“Cre8tek’s ability to swiftly move from concept to prototype is vital in the fast-paced tech industry,” Cristiano remarks, highlighting the significance of their agility and technical competency.
Cristiano explains that Cre8tek is the perfect size – large enough to have the necessary skills but small enough to remain agile and flexible. He also emphasizes that their understanding of both European and Chinese cultures provides a significant advantage in the collaboration.

Incorporating Dream Devices to enhance electronics and software design
As the project progressed, Pison recognized the need for specialized electronics design and software development. While Cre8tek handled the manufacturing and mechanical aspects of Pison’s new concept, they needed a partner capable of handling software and electronics design. Dream Devices was then introduced to the partnership through a referral from Cre8tek. Specializing in wireless technologies and consumer product development, Dream Devices seamlessly integrated into Pison’s existing efforts.
“They brought a combination of speed, flexibility, and deep expertise, crucial for our agile and innovation-driven approach,” explains Cristiano Cairo.
Cristiano expresses great satisfaction in the collaboration with Dream Devices, noting their ability to both take initiative and “step back” as needed. This makes them a valuable partner able to adapt to the project’s changing requirements.
He emphasizes that Dream Devices, like Cre8tek, is the right size, which has a significant impact:
“It’s exactly the same story as with Cre8tek. Dream Devices have the same right size; they can actually move fast, they’re very supportive, they’re very knowledgeable,” Cristiano shares.
A perfect match for development and manufacturing.
Together, the two companies played pivotal roles: Dream Devices focused on electronics and software, while Cre8tek managed mechanical design and quality control.
Cristiano Cairo believes that their combined contributions of flexibility, availability, skills, and personality have ensured high efficiency in the project:
“The combination of Dream Devices and Cre8tek enabled us to go from a design on a piece of paper and a list of components and requirements in September to an advanced prototype almost final product already by January, February. So we really moved fast,” he says.
Yilin Pei, CEO Cre8tek China, is also enthusiastic about the collaboration with Dream Devices: “We cooperate as one team in the same company with different functions,” he says, while Petri Virta, CTO of Dream Devices, agrees:
“Our collaboration with Cre8tek has been exceptional from the start. With a shared vision and mutual trust, both companies have been able to respond rapidly to challenges, often resolving issues in a matter of hours. This level of efficiency has been instrumental in the success of the project, as we work together to ensure the product meets the highest standards,” says Petri.

The result and future collaboration
Through a collaborative effort between Pison Technology, Cre8tek, and Dream Devices, the project has successfully moved from concept to market with several thousand units of Pison Ready already produced.
As Pison Technology moves forward with its innovative developments, Cristiano Cairo outlines the immediate future plans for their wearable technology. He states:
“Well, we are launching the next generation soon with some changes, and they’re [Cre8tek and Dream Devices, red.] going to manufacture the new version and new generation. So we are gonna continue our collaboration for the time being, hopefully for a long time.“
Cristiano’s endorsement
Cristiano Cairo strongly recommends Cre8tek and Dream Devices, emphasizing their suitability for companies needing reliable design and manufacturing partners:
“I always recommend Cre8tek and Dream Devices for hardware products, especially for large companies needing fast prototype development or mid-sized companies seeking dependable partners.”
In summarizing his experience, Cristiano concludes:
“They stand out for their flexibility and competencies, setting them apart from other partners I’ve worked with.“
